I did read about underslung LPG tanks, which is an alternative for my gas locker which is too small for my original size of 3.9 Kg bottle. I do not want to modify my RV just yet and thought this to be a better option, though expensive. Can anyone suggest any other options without having to spend too much on modification.

It will save you the trouble of hunting for an LPG cylinder at your vacation site. You need not worry and be stressed that you may run out of LPG.
