I did read about underslung LPG tanks, which is an alternative for my gas locker which is too small for my original size of 3.9 Kg bottle. I do not want to modify my RV just yet and thought this to be a better option, though expensive. Can anyone suggest any other options without having to spend too much on modification.

It will save you the trouble of hunting for an LPG cylinder at your vacation site. You need not worry and be stressed that you may run out of LPG.
Underslung LPG tanks can be a good alternative for RV owners who have a small gas locker and are unable to accommodate their original size of LPG bottles. While underslung LPG tanks can be more expensive than traditional LPG bottles, they offer a number of benefits.
Underslung LPG tanks is a very good alternative especially for longer distance travel and vacation. It does not involve too much modification too.
Underslung LPG tanks are a lot advantageous as underslung LPG tanks are often easier to access and refill than other types of tanks, as they are located on the outside of the RV. Mounting the LPG tank under the RV helps to distribute the weight more evenly, which can improve the handling and stability of the vehicle.
You need to think whether you need that much gas for a weekend vacation or a week long vacation. If the number of people are more and if you feel that there is a chance of running out of gas at remote locations then it would be advisable to invest in underslung LPG tanks.
