Planning is a very important step before going on a vacation. Get familiar with the route to your destination, take precautions regarding any adversities that could happen. See that your RV is well stocked with supplies. Be prepared for any medical emergencies too.
Some parks may have limited availability or require reservations in advance, especially during peak travel seasons. Additionally, checking weather forecasts and road conditions can help you avoid potential hazards or delays during your trip.
Choosing the right RV is my biggest problem as there are many different types of RVs available, and selecting the right one can be overwhelming. You'll need to consider factors such as size, features, and price.
I find the route planning to be the most difficult part as it can be time-consuming and complicated, especially if you're visiting multiple destinations or if you're not familiar with the area.
For the planned road trip, pick an appropriate RV. Adapt your plan to your financial situation. If at all feasible, reserve campsites well in advance of your journey. Routing should be RV-friendly. Do some advance research on RV parking. Be flexible on the time you expect to arrive.
