Try to get a hang of driving an RV, get a little familiar with the RV systems, get a list of things that you would really need while on the go and plan your trip well in advance before embarking on your vacation.
If you are planning to buy, I suggest that you research well before making this long term investment.
It's great that you have shown an interest in buying an RV. My suggestion, which I feel is very important is to first research different types and models to find the one that best fits your needs and budget. Once you have made up your mind,the next query regarding maintaining and running your vehicle shouldn't be much of a problem.
I am also a newbie and I am also gathering information regarding how to use an RV. I am planning to take a n RV driving and safety course to get more familiar with the vehicle and learn the best practices of RVing.
