Some of the advantages of owning an RV include having a mobile home, being able to travel comfortably, and enjoying the great outdoors. Cons of RV ownership include hefty up-front costs, continuing maintenance costs, and a lack of storage space.

The only drawback I find about RV is that RVs can be large and bulky, which can make them difficult to store and maintain, especially if you don't have a lot of space or if you live in a city or other area where parking is limited.
RVs can also be less fuel-efficient than cars, and some models may have limited off-road capabilities. Additionally, driving a large RV can be intimidating for some people, especially those who are not used to handling such a large vehicle.
I had postponed buying an RV as I apprehensive about the maintenance cost etc but now I have decided to own one.
I do not mind the cons of owning an RV as it is my dream to own an RV and go on vacations in it. Everything comes with a cost and that is the way of life.
Owning an RV gives you the freedom to travel where and when you want, without having to worry about making arrangements for transportation and lodging however RVs can be expensive to purchase, maintain, and repair. The initial investment can be substantial, and ongoing expenses, such as insurance, maintenance, and storage, can add up over time.
Everything in life comes with its own advantages and disadvantages and also a cost. I think we should be very clear as to what we need to buy and for what. That will solve the dilemma.
